Next up was the Wild Blueberry. I expected to not like this because I'm not a big blueberry fan, but I was pleasantly surprised. It was definitely a distinct blueberry flavor, but it wasn't overpowering. I think the coconut milk helped balance out the flavors.
The cranberry orange flavor was also quite nice. Again not too overpowering in terms of strong flavors. Everything blended nicely. If you enjoy the combination of cranberry orange, you will really like this.
Lastly I tried the honey almond. If you don't like super-sweet cereal in the morning, this one is for you. I think this was the least "sweet" of all of the flavors, but I really enjoyed the almond and honey combo.
(Sorry no picture, I guess in my anticipation of try it, I forgot!)
Overall, I think Cocomama is a really great alternative to certified GF oats or cream of rice and buckwheat. I love the portability of this and the ability to heat or not heat it. It's really great for me to take to work and eat when I get there. I can also imagine it being great for families on the go. On another note, the texture might really appeal to some kids that have texture sensitivies. If they like their foods more pureed or soft, this will fit the bill quite nicely. There aren't any huge chunks of anything in them and the texture is made smooth with the coconut milk. If you are lucky enough to find this at your local Whole Foods check it out!
