2012 Events:

Chef Corey took care of my daughters wedding at The Grand Floridian in Disney World. She did not want just a plate served to her and her husband that was gluten free, she wanted everyone to be served gluten free so she would not get sick with all the kissing, hugging, and face touching done at a wedding. He was amazing he made a beautiful gluten free dinner and dessert feast. I hope he is helping with the recipes at least for this event cause he really knows his way around a gluten free kitchen. The non-gluten free guests could not believe their palates when told that all of the creations were gluten free. He went so far above and beyond every expectation we could of ever imagined, Chef Corey made Disney Magical that night for all involved. His food was the talk of the town for months after the wedding. We still hear about how incredible the food tasted. Good luck with the event, I hope to be there.
ReplyDeleteWow, what a wonderful story! I'm so happy to hear this, and I can completely relate to your daughter. I too would want to have the entire meal safe for me to eat without the risk of cross-contamination. Disney is just amazing, and every time I hear a new story, I'm in awe of how wonderful they are. I meeting with chefs next week and I will definitely mention Chef Corey! Thank you again for this wonderful story. It's just proof that you can have delicious meals without allergens. Thanks so much, and I hope to see you at our dessert party!
DeleteI would be so excited if this ends up falling while we are there!!!
ReplyDeleteI hope we can find a date that works for your travel schedule :)
DeleteMe too! I voted! :-)
DeleteWhat is the cost per child? My children are 5 & 8 and I would love to attend. I will have to see if we can fit the cost into our next trip.
ReplyDeleteTickets are $50 per person including children over the age of 3. It stinks that we have to charge so much, but it's because Disney doesn't distinguish children over the age of 3 for the catered event. The fee covers the food costs associated with the event. We tried to make it as cost effective as possible. Hope that helps.
